Undergraduate sponsorships

If you are studying an engineering based degree, Frazer-Nash offers you a great chance to experience real working life with one of the UK’s biggest systems and engineering consultancies.

Our sponsorship scheme is a two year relationship including two 10-12 week programmes that we run during the summer vacations. You’ll need to be in the 2nd or 3rd year of a 4 year (5 in Scotland) accredited engineering masters degree course. At the end of the programme, successful candidates may be offered a position to return as a full time employee.

Entry requirements

  • a strong academic record working towards a first or 2:1 degree or postgraduate qualification in an engineering-based subject
  • a talent for problem-solving 
  • sound judgement
  • excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills
  • an analytical mind.

Opportunities are available at Frazer-Nash offices around the UK, giving you a great range of experiences to choose from.


What will you do?

As a sponsored student you will be given a live project to work on, with clear objectives and outcomes to deliver. But don't worry you will be working alongside experienced staff who will provide you with the guidance and on-the-job training you need.

The Scheme will provide:

  • £2,000 per annum for a period of two years
  • Support and mentoring from experienced Frazer-Nash staff
  • Paid summer vacation work (up to 12 weeks each year)
  • An offer of full-time employment upon successful completion of our sponsorship scheme
  • A wide variety of opportunities

Undergraduate Industrial Placement

If you are studying a Systems Engineering based degree we also offer an undergraduate industrial placement scheme. The scheme will give you the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge to real world situations as well as developing your vocational and personal skills.
