The successful candidate will have recent experience working within the defence sector managing Supportability (including Integrated Logistic Support), Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and R&M engineering programmes.  This will preferably have been gained within a consultancy business environment working as a Supportability, TNA and R&M consultant, or in an Integrated Logistic Support / R&M manager post in the Australian Department of Defence or an Australian defence contractor.

Key attributes for the role are:

• The ability to develop Supportability, TNA and R&M strategies for complex systems, from both a technical and commercial perspective;
• A good understanding and track record of managing and delivering formal Supportability, TNA and R&M analyses as applied to complex defence acquisition programmes (including Logistic Support Analysis Tasks, Failure Analysis, Whole Life Cost Modelling, R&M Case Development and R&M Modelling);
• Knowledge of the applicable DoD standards for Supportability, TNA and R&M, along with an understanding of the role of Supportability, Training and R&M in the context of the DoD’s acquisition and sustainment policy guidance. Direct above-the-line experience would be beneficial.
