Our activities focus on the provision of design and assessment services to the UK's power generating companies and manufacturers of power generation equipment. We place particular emphasis on our customers' need to demonstrate the safe and efficient operation of their plant and equipment within rules laid down by Government legislation.
Frazer-Nash is active in the industrial power generation market and conducts work on behalf of major manufacturers, users and regulatory authorities, including Rolls-Royce, Siemens and Alstom.
The Power Sector utilises many of Frazer-Nash's core competencies, including:
- State-of-the-art Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques for structural assessment;
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for the prediction of fluid flow and thermal effects.
