Heritage

1920 - The company traces its history back to Archie Frazer-Nash, whose early career was spent designing and producing specialist cars.

1971 - The company was formed and became part of the Frazer-Nash Group of companies.

1990 - The company was the subject of a management buy out, when it was acquired by its management and staff.

2004 - Following many years of strong growth the business was acquired to form part of the DML Group.

2007 - DML was in turn acquired by Babcock International Group. Frazer-Nash remains an independent operating entity making a valuable contribution to the wider Babcock International Group.

 

Locations & Number of Staff

Frazer-Nash has over 300 permanent employees at offices in, Dorking, Bristol, Burton-on-Trent, Glasgow, Plymouth, Warrington and Dorchester.

Turnover is around £20 million, with consistent growth levels since 1996 of between 20 and 25% per annum.

Key Markets

Frazer-Nash's key markets are defence, nuclear, power & energy, civil aerospace, rail, marine, petrochemical and industrial. The company takes a high-level risk based view of a customer's requirements and applies its engineering skills to mitigate that risk. Typically the skills Frazer-Nash utilise are heavily based in advanced mathematical modelling techniques which are applied to every stage of a project lifecycle.
