Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
EIA may be a legal or organisational policy requirement and is described as a systematic process to be followed in order to assist the organisation to predict, control and mitigate its impacts on the environment. Where EIA is mandated by statute (for certain types of projects), an EIA is required prior to the development/project being granted development consent.
Frazer-Nash staff have established experience in project managing and undertaking such assessments as well as assisting regulatory authorities with the evaluation of EIAs submitted to them.
