Kevin has wide and extensive experience within the engineering profession. He started his career in the aircraft industry, as an apprentice working towards his degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics. He went on to work in the mining and metallurgical industries, both in the UK and abroad. He has over 25 years experience in consultancy work, dealing with design, structures, special purpose machinery, mechanical handling, metallurgical plant, and road and rail vehicles. His strength is the ability to unravel complex technical situations to determine the root causes of failures.
As Chief Engineer with Frazer-Nash, Kevin has day-to-day familiarity with the technical, legal and financial issues that surround complex engineering projects. His experience on the Institution of Mechanical Engineers interview and professional development panels gives Kevin a comprehensive view on standards of competence expected of engineers. Now widely recognised as one of the leading experts within the profession Kevin has provided expert advice on many occasions.
Gary Lock
Qualifications: BSCs, CEng, FIMechE, MIRTE

Gary has over 20 years experience in mechanical engineering consultancy. His background includes Project Management of design (both concept and detail), analysis and assessment of various aerospace, military and commercial projects, using finite element methods and hand calculations for static/dynamic stress, fatigue and fracture mechanics investigations.
Gary obtained Chartered Engineer status and membership of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 1988, and was elected to Fellow in 2006. He is also a member of the Society of Operating Engineers and the Institute of Road Transport Engineers.
Gary has appeared as an expert witness in many roll-over cases, both criminal and civil, in magistrates, county and crown courts. He regularly lectures on this subject to Institutions and Associations and has published several articles on the subject in trade and scientific journals such as 'Transport Engineer', 'Automotive Engineer', 'Impact' and the journal of the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators. He has also provided support to several cases involving the failure of components.

Trevor Perry
Qualifications: PhD, Dip Adv Stud Sci, BSc Hons (Physics), MIEMA

Trevor is a Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and is an IEMA registered Principal Environmental Auditor (PEA).He has extensive knowledge and experience of the practical issues associated with environmental legislation. Trevor was involved in the development programme of BS7750, the forerunner of the EMS standard, ISO 14001. He has provided considerable environmental compliance and risk management support to major industrial and commercial organisations as well as large acquisition and privatisation projects.
He is highly competent at presenting information and communicating at all levels and has acted as an expert witness in a case concerning waste management deficiencies.
He has led a major environmental consultation project for AWE Aldermaston, including chairing public meetings and stakeholder workshops and representing information to the media.
Alan Pryce

Alan has over 30 years experience working in a mechanical engineering environment. Formative experience was within the manufacturing industry of medium speed diesel engines, steam turbine and pumps and then within the factory automation environment. Alan has been a senior project manager within Frazer-Nash for over 15 years and provides project management services to a range of clients. He is currently the company's project risk management specialist working with many valued clients on determining the most effective method of orientating projects to have a risk focus. The methodology has been applied to many large projects within the Ministry of Defence, nuclear power and rail industries. Alan has training in expert witness reporting and legal representation and has provided expert witness reports on several areas including factory equipment failures, machinery design audits and project management practice.
