AVAS Minimize

AVAS is designed for predicting and simulating the dynamic response of complex coupled systems from concept stage, through to detailed design. Compatibility with a wide range of alternative modelling techniques enables the fusion of familiar system modelling methods in this new dynamic analysis system. This provides quick and cost efficient prediction for proposed projects, or enhancements and modifications to in-service equipment.

The software provides a comprehensive range of internal components which can be used to model commonly occurring components such as machines, anti-vibration mounts and simple structural arrangements. It is capable of integrating data from other calculation procedures (e.g. finite element analysis results) and measurement trials.

The software offers two primary solution types, namely a steady state forced response over a frequency range and an eigensolution to extract the natural frequencies and mode shapes. A parametric study capability allows the user to investigate the influence of one or more component parameters on the response of the model.

The software’s capabilities are accessed through a flexible graphical user interface which offers multiple windows, toolbar buttons, pull down menus and comprehensive on-line help facilities.
