Rebecca Wallis BA (Hons) MA
I’m a highly-skilled writer and editor, who turns complex subjects into content that engages, entertains and informs diverse audiences. I have experience of delivering content across multiple channels, including print, web, intranet, social media and video. With an extensive knowledge of grammar and linguistics, I am able to adapt my tone of voice to appeal to readers at all levels, and offer fast, accurate proofreading that meets house style and brand guidelines.
At Frazer-Nash, I lead on public relations (PR), with responsibility for delivering coverage of the company’s wide-ranging expertise, projects and activities. I am the first point of contact for all media enquiries and coordinate responses, researching, writing and editing feature articles, press releases, web news stories, scripts and blogs across multidisciplinary subject areas. I liaise with press contacts, pitching stories and delivering commissioned pieces, undertaking end-to-end coordination of Frazer-Nash’s stakeholder review and approval process. I also write copy for marketing collateral, including web pages, brochures, banners, information sheets, case studies and flyers; and in proofreading and editing others’ copy, in both print and digital formats, within tight timescales.
Technically, I run the Frazer-Nash social media profiles on LinkedIn and Twitter, and make frequent updates to the company website. I am highly technically-literate, with an understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) and Google Analytics, and experience in using a range of content management systems including Umbraco, SharePoint and WordPress.
Before joining Frazer-Nash I worked in a busy press office and as a journalist, writer, editor and sub-editor.
