Job Description

To join an expanding team that provides engineering modelling consultancy services to a wide range of clients and industries.

The focus of this role is to specify and develop mathematical models of physical systems. A wide range of application areas are anticipated.

The role will involve supporting projects from initiation to delivery, including:

  • Liaising with clients to define requirements for models and analysis;
  • The design and development of mathematical models and software solutions;
  • Running models developed for analysis and understanding the impact of the outputs in the context of the client's organisation;
  • Delivering models or results from models to meet clients' requirements;
  • Project management

The development of the above skills and competencies will be well supported.

Requirements

You will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and a passion for mathematical model development in an engineering and/or physical sciences context.

Qualifications:

  • You will possess, or be on track for, a good degree in Engineering or      Engineering Mathematics, and have demonstrated mathematical modelling aptitude      and capability as part of your project work or through other experience;

or

  • You will possess, or be on track for, a good degree in Mathematics or a Science subject and have applied mathematical modelling to an engineering or physical sciences related discipline.
