This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your experience in systems assurance of a complex infrastructure project. We will provide you with the opportunity to grow your capabilities in major project environments and establish you for future leadership roles as society continues to respond to the challenge of urbanisation.

The Role

We are seeking a number of roles that are part of integrated teams working to deliver the best project outcomes through the whole lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

You will need to plan, lead and organise the Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) program including FMECA, Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) modelling, development of RAM targets and predictions for a system which contains new and legacy technologies and high capacity operating profiles.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Strong system engineering and assurance process knowledge with a background in railways, signalling and communications.
  • Experience in the application of international standards in a risk based analytical framework preferably backed by exposure to a regulatory environment for system approval, acceptance and accreditation.
  • Excellent technical domain knowledge in one or more areas of electronics, computing and software, or you will have developed your electrical, chemical or mechanical knowledge in a way which enables you to quickly grasp understanding in other technical domains.
  • A background in understanding complex operating environments where many factors operate concurrently and exposure to working on challenges which require engagement and influence with multiple stakeholders to optimise outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Be highly organised and able to prioritise a number of key deadlines and manage well under pressure.
  • Are willing to reside in Melbourne and to travel interstate as required.

Although working on a client site, you will be working closely with managers of Frazer-Nash who are heavily involved with leadership responsibilities for the success of the project.
