Job Description

As part of Frazer-Nash's overall knowledge management strategy, the Marketing Information Officer will help improve the flow of marketing and business intelligence information in the company.

The successful candidate will focus on activities that support bids and tenders once they have been identified for follow-up. Specifically, you will help with the online submission and monitoring of bids; the management of Frazer-Nash's online registrations including e-portals and assist with business reporting.

Your activities will complement those undertaken by colleagues in marketing information who are primarily responsible for identifying project opportunities; maintaining and building our intranet's Work Winning Portal; maintaining project information and monitoring specific framework communications.

Travel to Frazer-Nash's UK offices will be required.

Working closely with the Marketing Communication Manager and colleagues in marketing information, the successful applicant will work as part of a co-ordinated team to help provide a high level of market information and business development support - making best use of synergies and minimising duplication. They will help provide a clear and consistent service offering to the business across all of its locations.

When required, you will alongside their team colleagues to provide tender and contract information support, particularly during periods of high demand and to cover for annual leave.

The successful applicant will act as a central point of contact for company registrations - uploading information as required. You will also maintain the list of registrations and work to ensure the information we supply (including company information and capability codes) is kept up to date.

Working on behalf of business and technical managers, act as a central point of contact for our e-portal memberships. Encourage best practice use of these systems and keep a record of those on which we are registered. You will monitor portal emails and ensure communications are forwarded and followed-up as needed. You will also provide help and guidance for those requiring it.

When required, you will download bid templates and work with internal stakeholders to ensure completed documents are uploaded to the clients' requirements.

They will download PQQs, ITTs and corresponding documents as needed and work with stakeholders to complete as needed.

As required, you will track the statuses of bids and, as far as is practical, work to ensure deadlines are met.

On request of bid teams you will submit clarification/tender queries and ensure that responses are communicated. You will also help collate company information in support of tender submissions.

Requirements

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability and willingness to develop a broad understanding of Frazer-Nash's business (in terms of internal organisation and external markets) and the environment in which we operate - and to use this knowledge to help deliver the marketing communication team's commitments.

You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, internal customer service and strong administrative skills, coupled with an understanding of marketing and/or business intelligence.

The role requires the use of a wide range of online portals and websites - therefore a high level of computer literacy, including the proficient use of Microsoft Office programs is highly desirable.

With a high level of regular administrative tasks, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a thoughtful and conscientious approach to their work. You will also need to apply yourself to more complex ad hoc tasks, think creatively and be prepared to identify and propose improvements to the way we work.
