The team you’ll be joining is the centre of excellence on the use of practical, field-based engineering sensing and measurement in Frazer-Nash. You will investigate and diagnose problems, then design, develop and deploy measurement systems, and then provide novel solutions. You will also work with the other teams in Frazer-Nash in diagnosing problems and providing solutions for our clients.

This can require the use of advance methods and novel approaches to answer very complicated problems and engage in method development to improve our service offer.
The team are a key pillar of the Asset Integrity Division. Asset Integrity operates in many sectors including energy, transport, and defence. We are looking for high-calibre, motivated people to join us as we seek to grow this area of our business.
Although primarily a technical role, you will be joining a consultancy where we expect you’ll be able to work across our business and with our clients. Good interpersonal skills are important as is the ability to make structured decisions, solve problems, and show initiative and ownership internally and externally.
As well as interpersonal skills, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- A Mechanical Engineering degree (at least a 2:1), or an applicable engineering, maths, or physics degree with a Masters or Doctorate in an integrity engineering discipline. A Mechanical Engineering degree with a doctorate would be particularly interesting.
- Technical knowledge in the mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and sciences domain.
- Business development – flexible on the level but must show an interest and flair.
- Team player – must be able to work in a diverse and often multi-disciplinary team.
