This role could be based at any of our UK offices depending on the successful candidates preference

We are a systems and engineering technology consultancy that helps organisations deliver innovative engineering to make lives safe, secure, sustainable and affordable. Our people join us to make an impact on the world and to learn from some of the best minds in the industry. Our people stay with us because they value our supportive team environment and the career opportunities provided by our sustained growth.

The Behavioural Psychology Unit within the Frazer-Nash Cyber Group provide a comprehensive, holistic understanding of risks that face organisations, making sure human-related vulnerabilities are considered.

We focus on factors that underlie behaviour (e.g. capability, opportunity, motivation) and consider how these factors impact vulnerability.

Applications are welcomed from undergraduate students who are in their second or third year of an accredited Psychology degree. You’ll have good A-level results and the placement could be based at one of our ten offices in the UK. You should be considering a career in consultancy once you have completed your degree.

The Behavioural Psychology Unit (BPU) is an integral part of our Cyber Group, meaning that a focus of the work for the BPU has a digital perspective.

We are looking for candidates who have a particular interest in any of the following areas:

Cyber Psychology

Cognitive Psychology

Experimental Psychology

Forensic Psychology

Social Psychology

Industrial-Organisational Psychology

Ideally the candidate will have some experience of quantitative and qualitative research methods.

When submitting your application we will want to see in your CV and Cover Letter details of your degree, educational background, but also include your work experience and why you are applying to Frazer-Nash. We are looking to see how you are organised and methodical in your approach when meeting deadlines and managing internal and external requirements. Show us the collaborative qualities and experience you have to work in a consultancy environment.

The nature of our work means that we sometimes require staff to access Government material, it is therefore necessary for all of our employees to gain appropriate security clearance. We will apply for clearance if you have successfully been selected for a position, and we will decide if we can successfully gain full clearance on your behalf based on the content of your application. Any offer of employment is subject to this requirement being met.

This is an opportunity to gain invaluable experience for a Year in Industry student providing work experience to supplement your degree.
