The Behavioural Psychology Unit within the Frazer-Nash Cyber Group provide a comprehensive, holistic understanding of risks that face organisations, making sure human-related vulnerabilities are considered.
We focus on factors that underlie behaviour (e.g. capability, opportunity, motivation) and consider how these factors impact vulnerability.
Applications are welcomed from undergraduate students who are in their second or third year of an accredited Psychology degree. You’ll have good A-level results and the placement could be based at one of our ten offices in the UK. You should be considering a career in consultancy once you have completed your degree.
The Behavioural Psychology Unit (BPU) is an integral part of our Cyber Group, meaning that a focus of the work for the BPU has a digital perspective.
We are looking for candidates who have a particular interest in any of the following areas:
Ideally the candidate will have some experience of quantitative and qualitative research methods.

We are looking to see how you are organised and methodical in your approach when meeting deadlines and managing internal and external requirements. The nature of our work means that we sometimes require staff to access Government material, it is therefore necessary for all of our employees to gain appropriate security clearance. We will apply for clearance if you have successfully been selected for a position, and we will decide if we can successfully gain full clearance on your behalf based on the content of your application. Any offer of employment is subject to this requirement being met.
This is an opportunity to gain invaluable experience for a Year in Industry student providing work experience to supplement your degree.

It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements:
- Resident in the UK for at least 5 years.
- Knowledge of/interest in ICT or cyber.
