Salary range for this role is £60,000k - £70,000kpa depending on experience.

We are building on our expertise in multi-intelligence capabilities by establishing a market-leading capability to deliver unique GEOINT, IMINT, OSINT and multi-Intelligence services to our customers.

You will have the skills, experience, knowledge and leadership to realise this vision. You will lead the growth of our Intelligence Services capability, helping our customers deliver their GEOINT, IMINT, OSINT and Multi-Intelligence capabilities.

Specific roles and responsibilities will include:

  • You will be our focal point for our intelligence capabilities and intelligence exploitation across government and be responsible for building strong relationships with key clients.
  • You will have the technical expertise to support clients in developing their complex requirements and translating those requirements into highly effective solutions.
  • You will develop, refine and communicate our strategic vision for the development of the Intelligence Services capability, including the development and maintenance of a 5-year plan.
  • You will lead the identification, definition and development of the capabilities we need to deliver our customers' GEOINT, IMINT, OSINT and Multi-Intelligence requirements.
  • You will be responsible for planning and ensuring the business has the capability to meet our client’s requirements. This will include building capability to meet forecast demand in accordance with the agreed 5-year plan.
  • You will be the lead for identifying and winning an increasing volume of work in accordance with your 5-year plan.
  • You will actively develop and promote the capability and the associated technical skills across our business – acting as the internal champion and ambassador for this new capability and promoting opportunities across our existing business.
  • You will lead our horizon-scanning activities - reviewing, developing and evaluating new technology or processes within the Intelligence Community to ensure the company retains a competitive edge
  • As the team builds, we expect that you will take on line management responsibilities for the team including establishing and leading a high-performing team that reflects our core values.


Essential requirements:

  • A deep understanding of the Defence Environment with specific expertise in the use and exploitation of Intelligence capabilities within Defence and cross other industries and sectors.
  • Significant knowledge, competency and experience in ISR requirements including technical understanding across GEOINT, IMINT, OSINT and Multi-intelligence environments.
  • Inspirational and versatile leader with significant experience leading teams within the Intelligence community.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with evidence of generating and maintaining key stakeholder relationships across government, industry and allied partner organisations.
  • The ability to simplify complex challenges and present a concept or plan that can be clearly understood by individuals with all levels of technical understanding.
  • Proven project management skills with experience and knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • A proven track record of delivering at pace and being able to react quickly to change.
  • Hold enhanced levels of security clearance.

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience in business planning, converting customer needs into service development plans and workforce planning.
  • Experience in business development, engaging with customers to understand complex requirements.
  • Experience in building teams and capabilities to address an identified customer requirement.
  • An understanding of Enterprise Architecture and how it can be used to support change and modernisation across the intelligence enterprise.
  • Experience leading cultural change and business transformation and adopting continuous improvement initiatives in challenging environments.
  • Experience working alongside key stakeholders in the Defence Intelligence community and intelligence-related programmes more widely across Defence (such as Dstl).

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
