Track and infrastructure engineering expert, Mark Leech, has joined Frazer-Nash Consultancy's rail team, supporting the development of maintenance optimisation strategies for the company's clients.

Welcoming Mark, Phil Harris, Frazer-Nash Transport and Infrastructure Group's Senior Business Executive said:

"Mark brings more than 25 years' experience of the rail industry and, like Frazer-Nash, has always sought to make a positive difference to transport systems. His insights will help our clients ensure their maintenance and asset management strategies are best balancing the costs of maintenance against the delivery of their business objectives.

"With expertise in asset management, cost and budget models for track assets, concept development and risk management, Mark's skills and knowledge will provide a great complement to those of our existing strong team of rail consultants. His appointment into our rail team, led by Richard Wheldon, will support the ongoing growth in our rail business, and further broaden our capability across infrastructure systems."

Mark has a wide range of experience, including roles for London Underground, Metronet Rail and Balfour Beatty. He is a Member of the Institute of Asset Management, the Railway Civil Engineers Association and a graduate member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
