News & Events-Frazer-Nash sponsors Brunel University’s STEM Outreach Prize

Frazer-Nash is to sponsor Brunel University's STEM Outreach Prize, to recognise students' efforts as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) ambassadors.

The prize competition is inviting Brunel students who have acted as STEM role models - inspiring, motivating and helping young people to understand STEM subjects and how they can be applied to real-world situations - to apply for the prize.

Entrants are asked to create a portfolio of commendation, to be submitted by the deadline of midnight, Friday 26 May 2017, which includes messages of reference and recommendation from teachers and other professionals involved in the co-ordination of STEM outreach. Details of conference papers presented, television appearances, or other means of promotion can be provided as evidence.

Undergraduate, postgraduate and distance learning students, who are in the final year of a Brunel degree programme accredited by one of the professional engineering institutions, are invited to enter. Entrants should be working towards IEng or CEng registration.
