News & Events - Clever collaborations sought for The Engineer’s 2018 C2I awards competition

Entries are now being accepted for The Engineer's 2018 Collaborate to Innovate (C2I) awards, sponsored by Frazer-Nash.

C2I aims to discover and celebrate the great examples of engineering collaboration that are critical to solving many of the challenges and problems faced by society.

Frazer-Nash Engineering Director, Chris Guyott, will be one of the judges for the event. Chris said:

"The C2I awards are inviting entries from projects - whether from industry or academia - that address fundamental engineering challenges. They need to be truly innovative, represent a collaboration between two or more separate organisations, and have had, or be likely to have, a demonstrable impact in their sector.

"There are ten categories to choose from, and this year's competition also features three categories specifically focussed on education and engagement: the Academic Innovator award for universities; the Young Innovator award, highlighting collaboration between businesses and schools; and the Young Innovator Engagement award, celebrating broader initiatives educating and inspiring young people about the role of engineers."

The closing date for entries to the C2I awards is 28th May. Winners will be announced at a party in London on 18th September, and will be invited to present their entries at a one-day conference in December.
