News & Events - Frazer-Nash welcomes two new starters as its electrical offering expands


Engineering consultancy Frazer-Nash has announced the appointment of two engineers as part of the expansion of the company's electrical capabilities; Electrical and Control Engineer Phil Williams and Acceptance Engineer David Mylrea.

Phil brings over 40 years' experience to Frazer-Nash in the design, installation, operation and maintenance of high value, complex electrical equipment within the Defence, Energy and Water sectors, while David has considerable experience of electromagnetics, radio frequency, electronic and mechanical engineering across multiple industries.

Frazer-Nash has identified the importance and value in offering comprehensive Electrical Engineering services and is also working to develop and expand its Electrical, Control and Software engineering capability. Both engineers will contribute to the company as it broadens its professional services capability in these areas. David will contribute to develop Frazer-Nash's overall EMC capability. Phil will be adding to the High Voltage experience at Frazer-Nash, and helping to move experience into other market sectors.

Commenting on the appointments, Chris Watters, Service Development Manager at Frazer-Nash said: "We are pleased to welcome Phil and David to Frazer-Nash and our expanding Electrical Team. Both have a wealth of engineering experience and their knowledge and skills will prove invaluable in helping us enhance our electrical engineering capability both now and in the future as we look to support the rail, oil and gas, automotive and renewable industries. Phil and David are a key part of Frazer-Nash electrical transformation initiative, an initiative which aims to broaden and deepen the overall electrical science capability within Frazer-Nash."
 
Frazer-Nash is also working to enhance the future of electrical engineering teaming through more recruits and through our work with universities.  Frazer-Nash is currently sponsoring an electrical engineering PhD student, and seeking more opportunities to expand its involvement in key areas of research, by supporting a number of student's placements within the business.
