News & Events - Frazer-Nash set to present at International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) event, USA


Adelaide-based Frazer-Nash expert Dr Quoc Do and representatives from a number of leading international organisations are set to present papers on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) at the 24th INCOSE International Symposium.

To be held in Las Vegas, USA from 30 June to the 3 July, the symposium is one of the largest annual gatherings of systems engineering professionals, educators and researchers.

 

Dr Quoc Do will be presenting two papers:

 

'Technical Operation Track - MBCD: An MBSE Approach for Early Stage System Engineering Activities'. Dr Quoc Do (Frazer-Nash).

Monday 30 June, 15:30hrs

 

'Modelling and Simulation Track - The Use of Models Across the Contractual Boundary: Past, Present and Future'. Dr Quoc Do (Frazer-Nash), Professor Stephen Cook (University of South Australia), Terje Fossnes (NDLO - Norwegian Navy) and Cecilia Haskins (NorwegianUniversity of Science and Technology).

Wednesday 2 July, 16:55hrs

 

During the symposium, Quoc will be attending and contributing to a number of INCOSE business meetings in his capacity as the INCOSE Associate Director Technical Review and Deputy President of the Systems Engineering Society of Australia (INCOSE Australia Chapter).  He will also be joining a panel forum to discuss 'Systems Engineer: Guru or Scientist', with Garry Roedler (Lockheed Martin Corporate Engineering), Tina Srivastava (MIT) and William Miller (Innovative Decisions).

The INCOSE International Symposium

The 24th INCOSE International Symposium continues the tradition of offering a stimulating technical program bringing together speakers and delegates from industry, academia, and government with sponsors, and exhibitors from the entire international systems engineering community.

Participants share and learn the latest developments in systems engineering foundation; education; methodology and tools; and innovative practices such as model-based systems engineering, and system of systems engineering.
