News & Events - Raspberry Pi ‘Jam’ in Edinburgh sponsored by Frazer-Nash

Frazer-Nash is to sponsor a workshop for those interested in developing their Raspberry Pi skills at Edinburgh's CodeBase on 30 April.

The Raspberry Pi 'Jam' will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 on Saturday 30 April at the CodeBase technology incubator, based in Argyle House in Edinburgh. The event will cover several different topics, from introductory to advanced concepts, and will be tailored to the abilities of those registered. It will include a range of talks and project presentations in the morning, followed by a hands-on workshop session in the afternoon.

The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer, which can be used to run Linux, RISC OS or Microsoft Windows operating systems. The device provides a cheap development platform, encouraging programming and experimentation with associated electronics.

Participants are being encouraged to present a project that they have been working on to other attendees: if you have a project that you would like to discuss during the event, please contact the event organiser as soon as possible.

Just a few tickets are now left for the morning session, and entry for children, unemployed adults, students or those presenting a project is free. Other adult attendees will pay a £5 donation at the door. Tickets, including those for free entry, can be obtained from

CodeBase is the largest technology incubator in the UK and one of the fastest growing in Europe. Based in Argyle House, in the heart of Edinburgh, CodeBase is entirely built on private equity, with a mission to build and grow the next great tech companies.
