Frazer-Nash and KBR are to become partners in the Aurora Engineering Partnership, which supports the rapid deployment of military equipment to the frontline via the Engineering Delivery Partner (EDP) programme.
Lining up alongside existing partners, QinetiQ, AtkinsRéalis and BMT, Frazer-Nash and KBR will bolster the EDP which provides mission critical engineering services to the Ministry of Defence (MOD), further strengthening technical skills and expertise, and enabling the EDP to be more competitive and innovative.
As well as bringing Frazer-Nash and KBR onboard as partners, Aurora is committing to investing in AI technology, increasing the role of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), and refreshing the EDP’s network of suppliers, to make it easier for non-traditional defence companies to provide innovation and technological skills, ultimately aiming to save time and cost, boost productivity and increase the pace of delivery for the MOD.
