IET awards open to pioneering innovators

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is seeking ground-breaking entries for its 2018 Innovation Awards - with the cyber security award sponsored by Frazer-Nash Consultancy.

The annual awards are free to enter, and open to individuals, groups or organisations who believe their pioneering engineering and technology ideas, research and products can help solve global challenges.

Frazer-Nash Business Director, Bill Hodson, who will be a judge for the IET's innovation award for cyber security, said:

"Your brainwave could spark an idea that the world won't forget: one that could help to solve the cyber security challenges we're all facing today.

"If you know your innovation could enable organisations, governments and individuals to mitigate their cyber security risk, make sure you enter before the deadline of Friday 6 July.

"Whether you've developed a new product or service, or your research has led to a ground-breaking discovery, the IET's Innovation Awards give you the chance to showcase your idea in action and gain global recognition."

There are 14 award categories to enter, each independently judged by a panel of experts. One category winner will be receive the overall award, and the accolade of 'E&T Innovation of the Year', to be presented at a black tie dinner and ceremony on Wednesday 14 November in London.
