Frazer-Nash’s Mark Stevens will be presenting at the Royal Aeronautical Society’s (RAeS’s) conference ‘The real world’s counterpart: Digital Twins – the present and the future’ in London on 8 October.

The conference will ask how, in this age of cutting-edge technology, we and future generations can use Digital Twins to progress us forward to shape the future of aviation and aerospace? Mark’s paper on ‘Exploiting digital assets to extract more performance and life’ will be delivered at 10.45am.

Outlining some of the key points he’ll be discussing in his presentation, Mark, who leads on the Digital Assets capability that Frazer-Nash has been deploying across diverse industries, said:

“I’ll be giving our take on the present – the recent boom in the use of 'digital twins', across a range of sectors. Then I’ll show how organisations can use them to improve the cost effectiveness and performance of their assets in the future, including an example of where we’ve applied our approach to demonstrate significant benefits in these areas for industrial gas turbines.”

Mark will be joined by Peter Van Manen, who has significant track record of deploying digital twins within Formula 1 racing.
