News & Events-Frazer-Nash taps into Gloucestershire talent hub with launch of new base

Engineering and technology specialist Frazer-Nash has announced the opening of a new operating base by taking 2,500 sq ft of office space at Elmbridge Court on the outskirts of Gloucester.

The company is aiming to take on around twenty new staff by the end of 2013, at all seniority levels. Initially, Frazer-Nash is seeking to hire engineers in the fields of nuclear, defence and aerospace engineering.

Peter Gillard, leader of one of Frazer-Nash's nuclear technology groups, is heading up the new office. He commented: "Our existing clients in Gloucestershire, which represent around a quarter of our current business, will clearly benefit from this office opening: our teams of engineers will be closer to these clients than ever before and at the same time will be well located to support new clients in the future.

"Having a presence in Gloucestershire also gives us easier access to the regional recruitment pool, which includes engineers with strong talent in nuclear, defence and aerospace engineering. This is important to us as we seek to continue to expand our business and provide high-end engineering services to a greater number of organisations."

The opening of the Gloucester base means that Frazer-Nash now has eight UK offices employing nearly 500 people, plus an established presence in Adelaide, Australia.
