News & Events-Frazer-Nash to provide support to Nexen's oil and gas projects

Frazer-Nash Consultancy, the engineering analysis specialist, has been awarded one of six consultancy support contracts by Nexen UK Ltd.  Nexen will use these contracts to execute work in support of their UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) projects.

Nexen operates some of the newest and largest assets in the UK sector of the North Sea, accounting for up to a quarter of national production.  Under the consultancy contracts, Frazer-Nash will be providing specialist support for asset integrity assurance, flow assurance, and topsides equipment.

Frazer-Nash was selected on the basis of its large multi-disciplinary team.  The company's 450 staff were able to cover all the necessary skill sets, as well as providing the capacity to provide project teams drawn from different disciplines.

Simon Rees, Frazer-Nash Business Manager for Oil and Gas, said "This is a terrific opportunity for us to work with one of the biggest North Sea operators, and one which consistently demonstrates its commitment to the industry in Scotland through long-term investment."
