News & Events-Leading engineer consultancy expands rail sector with appointments

Frazer-Nash has announced two new senior appointments in its rail sector, as the company continues to expand and consolidate its expertise in this area.

Andrew Shepherd joins the Rail Safety Group as a Senior Consultant from the Department for Transport Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) where he was one of the 20 rail inspectors covering the UK. Andrew is a Fellow of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers and joins Frazer-Nash with over 20 years' experience in the rail industry, where he has held senior positions within ALSTOM Transport, Adtranz (ABB Daimler Benz Transportation) and British Rail Signalling Projects. He will be based in the Frazer-Nash Dorking office and will work on a range of safety assurance projects within the rail sector.

John Salmon comes to Frazer-Nash from Network Rail where he worked as a modelling specialist with a focus on modelling and evaluation of traffic management systems. John brings with him over 25 years' experience from the Rail Industry where his work has included systems engineering, safety engineering and safety assessment. He will be working in the Frazer-Nash Dorking office focusing on Safety Engineering and Traffic Management systems.
