News & Events-Power is nothing without protection and control

Published in Railway Strategies, Frazer Nash's Rail business manager, Richard Jones, looks at the benefits of using Integrated Protection and Control (IPC) as part of the electrification of the UK rail network.

Implementing IPC will provide many benefits among them, significant cost savings, less complex location wiring, improved information for remote diagnosis and shorter repair times.

Frazer-Nash is currently working with Network Rail to develop safety cases for both the National Programme of IPC development and several regional roll-outs.
