News & Events-New business manager moving Frazer-Nash’s rail business forward

Matthew Phillips has joined Frazer-Nash Consultancy from Network Rail as a Business Manager in the company's rail business. 

Matthew will be working on developing both existing and new relationships in the rolling stock and infrastructure side of the rail industry. He joins Tim Myall as part of the team developing Frazer-Nash's innovative offering to the rail sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Ken Neal, Senior Business Executive said:

"Matthew's significant experience and knowledge of the rail market will prove a great asset to Frazer-Nash and will help drive our significant growth aspirations in the rail sector forward." 

Matthew has over 13 years' experience in senior positions in the rail industry. Before joining Frazer-Nash, Matthew worked for Network Rail as a Senior Account Manager, leading and developing relationships with network operations and infrastructure projects.

Matthew brings a wealth of business development expertise to the Frazer-Nash team, having been employed in senior roles at ESG Rail, DeltaRail Group and Bombardier Transportation. He has extensive client-facing experience, working closely with customers to define and suggest areas for business and performance improvement, and to meet user and stakeholder requirements.

Frazer-Nash's innovative work in the rail industry was recognised in February 2015, when the company, in partnership with Bombardier Transportation, was awarded the Rail Business Award for Technological Innovation, for their joint work on the Train Zero project at Bombardier's Derby plant.
