News & Events-New business manager set to grow Frazer-Nash’s rail business

Frazer-Nash's Tim Myall has been appointed Business Manager with responsibility for growing Frazer-Nash's rail business.

Commenting on his appointment, Ken Neal, Senior Business Executive said:

"We're committed growing our rail business and building long-term relationships. Tim is set to take a leading role as we continue to invest in this sector.

"Our success has been built on our ability to transfer the skills, experience and best practice from other sectors, where safety and reliability are critical factors, to clients in the rail industry. This approach is delivering competitive advantage to many of the organisations we work for."

Before being appointed Business Manager, Tim was instrumental in developing the company's Australian-based rail business. He returned to the UK in August 2014, and has been focussing his efforts on developing Frazer-Nash's relationship with the rail industry including rolling stock and infrastructure companies, train operating companies, original equipment manufacturers and regulatory bodies.

Frazer-Nash is renowned for its work to support innovation in the rail industry. In February 2015, the company teamed with Bombardier Transportation to scoop the prize for Technological Innovation at the Rail Business Awards for their joint work on the Train Zero project at Bombardier's Derby plant.
