News & Events-New business manager strengthens Frazer-Nash’s Australian maritime business

In response to the continuing growth in its naval and civilian maritime business, John Viskic has joined Frazer-Nash Consultancy's Australian offices as Maritime Business Manager.

Reporting to Jonathan Armstrong, Director of the company's Australian business, he brings considerable expertise, as Jonathan explains: "John Viskic's experience across government acquisition and sustainment programs, coupled with his business acumen, match our customers' increasing desire for cost-efficient solutions throughout the full operational life of their equipment. He brings decades of experience as a developer of defence solutions.

"With Frazer-Nash already supporting major Australian maritime clients, including the Future Submarine Program (SEA 1000), the Air Warfare Destroyer, Collins submarines and RAN Surface ships, and with anticipated growth in this sector over the next five to ten years, John's experience will strengthen this area of our business."

Commenting on his appointment, John said: "Frazer-Nash has earned a respected reputation for efficiently solving complex engineering problems, at the technical and organisational levels. I am enthused by the company's collegiate approach to solution development, whereby the team pools its knowledge and works together to deliver real value.

"I've been fortunate during my career to have worked with some of the most intelligent engineers and scientists in Australia, North America and Europe. Frazer-Nash's team has some of the sharpest minds I've ever encountered. The combination of interesting projects, fresh ideas and teamwork makes it an exciting place to be."

John joins Frazer-Nash after 33 years with BAE Systems, 19 of which were spent in Business Development roles.
