The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is inviting innovators across the globe to enter its Innovation Awards - and Frazer-Nash is welcoming entries to its sponsored category, Cyber Security.

With 15 categories to choose from, spanning the whole engineering industry, the awards believe that 'Nothing's Impossible' and aim to both inspire change and innovation, and to highlight and showcase the achievements made by great innovators every day.

Frazer-Nash is sponsoring the Cyber Security category, which will recognise innovation that has the potential to mitigate risks to organisations, government and individuals. The category is open to entrants from all organisations, including academia, the public sector and industry.

Bill Hodson, Frazer-Nash Business Director, will be one of the judges for the cyber security category. He describes the entries that will spark his interest:

"I'm really interested in seeing ground-breaking work that demonstrates fresh thinking and uses advanced technology and a novel approach to tackling today's cyber security problems.

"It could be cutting-edge research, an engaging education campaign, or a new product or service that is helping to solve today's security challenges, but it must represent a significant technological advance for the industry or technology sector.

"As the IET suggests, 'Nothing's Impossible', so if you've done six impossible things this morning, why not round it off by entering the Cyber Security category of the IET Innovation Awards!"

The deadline for entries to the awards is 7 July 2017, and the award ceremony will take place on 15 November at The Brewery in London.
