News & Events-Frazer-Nash exhibiting and presenting at Offshore Europe 2017

Frazer-Nash will be at stand 5A64 at the Offshore Europe 2017 exhibition, while Senior Engineer Ellen Barrow will also present at the conference.

Ellen will present her paper, 'Rigging the odds against climate change', at 2.30pm on 6 September. In her talk, she will discuss the necessity for the resilience of offshore infrastructure, to withstand the impacts that climate change may have on both marine biology and extreme weather events.

Posing questions that include: 'Do current plans for decommissioning, and/or life extension, need to be reconsidered to avoid escalating and unforeseen costs?', Ellen will consider the impact that marine growth and biological hazards could have on oil platforms' structural integrity, and outline practical solutions.

With over 50,000 attendees, Offshore Europe is one of the UK's largest events dedicated solely to the Oil and Gas industry. Produced in association with the Society of Petroleum Engineers, it highlights technological developments, effective solutions and the latest industry information.
