News & Events-Frazer-Nash hosting ERCOFTAC event

Frazer-Nash is to host the European Research Community on Flow, Turbulence and Combustion (ERCOFTAC) Oil & Gas event: 'Modelling and Simulation, Best Practices and Technology Trends' taking place on 15 and 16 March 2017.

Hosted by Frazer-Nash's Dr Christian Wood, and Director of Oil and Gas at ERCOFTAC, Dr Richard E Seoud, the event will take place at Frazer-Nash's Dorking office.

The seminar aims to capture the latest modelling and simulation practices and issues surrounding upstream-downstream technologies. As part of the upstream-downstream space, the organisers plan to dedicate a large part of the session to downstream technologies such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), CFD Finite Element Method (CFD-FEM), and low order models, as tools to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Participants were required to register for the event by 18 January. For further details, visit the event website.
