News & Events-Frazer-Nash joins UK Chamber of Shipping

Frazer-Nash has joined the UK Chamber of Shipping, the trade organisation that acts as the voice of the UK shipping industry.

The company was one of five new members welcomed by the organisation last month, and joins more than 180 members from across the maritime sector.

Commercial Marine Business Manager, Matt Howard said:

"We're very pleased to have been approved as a member of the UK Chamber of Shipping, and look forward to contributing our expertise to advancing the competitive strength of the maritime industry.

"Our highly-qualified maritime engineers have been providing maritime engineering consultancy to shipbuilders, designers, operators and equipment suppliers for over two decades. We use a broad systems engineering approach, which enables us to support our clients to solve problems and to make good decisions or investments.

"Our strong engineering specialisms within Naval Architecture, fluid modelling, structural design and modelling, safety and environmental, cyber security, and noise and vibration, help clients through all stages of the ship life cycle, from requirements definition right through to recycling and disposal."

The UK Chamber of Shipping recently welcomed the recommendations of the SMarT review, produced by Frazer-Nash and Oxford Economics.

The Chamber works with Government, parliament, international organisations and others to champion and protect the industry on behalf of its members.
