News & Events-Frazer-Nash showcasing its defence domain expertise at DSEI

Frazer-Nash will be showcasing its defence domain expertise and providing insight into insider threat at the Defence Security and Equipment International exhibition (DSEI) from 12-15 September 2017.

The systems and engineering technology company will be exhibiting on stand S4-368 at the ExCel exhibition centre in London, and will demonstrate how its expertise across a range of disciplines - from systems engineering and techno-economic assessment, to cybersecurity and safety - can add value to defence and security programmes in an ever-changing and complex world.

Business Director, Bill Hodson, said:

"Frazer-Nash is actively engaged with the ongoing defence transformation process, both in the UK and internationally, helping the sector to realise efficiencies, optimise its use of existing resources and acquire new capabilities.

"Our understanding of the mission, the domain, the job that needs to be done, and the technical reality that underpins these elements, is helping defence procurement teams to identify, specify and deliver the capability that provides them with the best value for their investment.

"We've been using our skills and experience in asset management to help the defence industry reduce the cost of ownership of equipment: de-risking the integration of new and legacy equipment and helping to improve assurance and support in the delivery of 'Safe to Operate' equipment and platforms.

"And with an ever-changing security threat, we apply a blended approach to tackling the challenges facing public and private sector clients, considering the physical, cyber, social and procedural threats to your key assets and critical activities.

"We welcome the opportunity at DSEI to discuss how we can help you balance technical reality with commercial reality."

Frazer-Nash will also be sharing how human factors expertise can be applied to defence programmes at DSEI. Principal Consultant, Georgina Fletcher, will look at the psychological and behavioural influences that underpin malicious insider threat actions, in a presentation titled: 'Inside the Cuckoo's Egg' on Tuesday 12 September.
