I specialise in NLP (Natural Language Processing), a field of artificial intelligence that focuses on enabling computers to understand, interpret, and generate human language.
With NLP, we are able to build solutions that can perform tasks such as sentiment analysis, text summarisation, and language translation, among others, to help businesses and organisations extract insights and value from their data.
I started my career as a software developer in the healthcare industry after studying computer science at university. Having subsequently spent two decades in software design, architecture and development I then became interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and now help businesses extract valuable insights from their unstructured data sources such as customer reviews, manuals, and documentation using NLP.
I work across the Frazer-Nash business sectors combining domain expertise with business analysis to analyse problems and deliver NLP-powered solutions, allowing clients to make better, knowledge-informed, decisions.
My experience has exposed me to a diverse range of challenges, which has enabled me to acquire expertise in many areas. Additionally, I advocate for greater research into NLP and the benefits that can bring.
