The team

 

Our Business Consultancy division provides management consultancy services to all Markets within the public and private sectors and our teams include experts who specialise in Architecture and Business Design, Business Analysis, Change & Management and Business Readiness and Value Management & Techno-Economic Assessments. These teams provide both advisory and delivery services aimed at maximising the value our clients achieve through successful design, delivery and adoption of change initiatives that meets or exceeds their desired outcomes.

 

This role is working for our Architecture & Business Design team. Our Architecture & Design Consultants help clients to understand their desired goals and objectives, develop transformation strategies and approaches, and support the development and delivery of holistic solutions that maximise the achievement of value, improve performance and experiences and meet or exceed their desired outcomes.

 

The role

 

Our Architecture & Design Consultants apply proven architecture methods to identify the changes required across multiple business capabilities in order to deliver the required outcomes. Using a structured approach to help solve clients most critical and complex problems, breaking them down and using a variety of design skills to convey complex insights, craft compelling stories that make convincing and understandable recommendations. Using their skills and experience, they support the design and delivery of solutions, working in collaboration with our clients to ensure success

 

Day to day duties include:

 

  • Facilitation of Vision, Strategies and Strategic thinking
  • Formulating and articulating Transformation Strategies and Roadmaps.
  • Identification and design of Solutions that contribute to efficiencies such as cost reduction, improved delivery timescales and improved user experience.
  • Supporting the implementation of solution recommendations to drive the delivery of benefits and outcomes aligned to the clients vision and strategy.
  • Identification of the necessary organisational design, process and technology changes to enable and sustain the transformation agenda.
  • Application of a structured architectural approach to translate strategy into initiatives, focussing on the bigger picture and how various solutions work together to meet business goals.
  • Working as part of a diverse team supporting business development activities within client engagements tender responses.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following;

 

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering as an architect or Business Designer (or similar role), within complex transformation and change activities in either Defence and/or the Public or Private sectors.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business outcomes that drive requirements, identifying and defining solutions that will achieve the business objectives, and delivering demonstrable value.
  • Experience of operating model development, organisational design and the production of roadmaps that support a transformation strategy.
  • The ability to communicate to clients effectively and convey technical ideas, concepts and high-level solutions in a simplified manner.
  • Experience of delivering large scale change using multiple methodologies and frameworks such as TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma, Systems thinking, Agile (Scrum, DSDM, scaled agile etc).
  • Experience of business analysis and process modelling along with the ability to support product and service development with a focus on user experience and the customer journey.
  • Apply creative and innovative thinking to address design and development challenges, solve problems and delight clients with quality outcomes.
  • Ability to obtain necessary Security Clearance where / if required

Desirable experience:

  • Experienced in supporting the development and solution design of Complex Transformational Change
  • Strong awareness of different Digital Technologies in the areas of mobile, web, automation, robotics, synthetic environments, video, Internet of Things (IoT), AI etc.
  • A recognised qualification in Enterprise Architecture or Change Management.
  • Defence, Nuclear, Health sector experience
  • Security Clearance – SC, DV / eDV   

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for National Security vetting.
