Job Title: Hydrogen Business Development Manager

Salary range: £60,000 to £75,000 per annum

Location: Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Burton or Leatherhead

We operate a flexible and hybrid working policy with time split between the office, client sites and working from home

Our renewable energy business is going through a phase of significant expansion, with increasing diversification driving growth in demand for services in renewable energy across all sub-sectors.

In our green hydrogen business, our activity spans R&D, technology and project development support, and this market represents a significant opportunity for growth. We are looking for a self-starter who has the experience to develop new business and actively manage existing accounts, ideally with the ability to support across all renewables markets.

Our projects are very diverse and can last from a few weeks to many years of sustained support. You will typically be involved with multiple customers and projects at any one time. You will meet and communicate with customers to understand their requirements and develop plans which enable us to maintain clients and develop new clients. You will be accountable for your own work, but also help support others in the team.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has the following experience:

Business development:

  • Helping shape our service development plans and strategies
  • Representing Frazer-Nash at conferences, seminars and client meetings
  • Responding to enquiries and writing bids
  • Setting up and negotiating contractual agreements
  • Supporting marketing initiatives

Account management:

  • Develop and maintain client accounts
  • Developing sector and territory plans

Technical:

  • Ability to oversee and understand broad range of technical disciplines
  • Work with technical colleagues to formulate effective technical propositions
  • Play an active role in steering new service development

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-­Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
